High Quality and Logistically Versatile Product

"We feed this product to many medium size dogs from nine months to 14 years. It is used as a topper on kibble, or as 1/2 of meal, or as full meal with added vegetables. All dogs that we have fed it to like it very much. It travels well in the dry form, less weight and volume, and stores better/longer than other dog food configurations. ALWAYS have extra water available for the dog to drink after consuming this food."

Incredible product

"My dogs weren’t eating their dry food so we started looking around and found this. We mix it with warm water to a thick soupy texture and pour it over their dry food and now they never miss a meal. We love honest kitchen products. We’ve been loyal customers for years now and we will continue to be. Thank you honest kitchen!"

Aron H. (5/5)

Dehydrated food

"My dog enjoys this food. I like the fact that the human grade. And since he doesn’t drink much water, the dehydrated food helps hydrate him. The only thing I noticed is you can’t add as much water as the instructions say or it will be very soupy. Unless you let it sit for an extended period of time."

Kevin G. (5/5)

My dog loves

"My 140lb Cane Corso loves this, so easy yet healthy she licks the bowl clean."

Yolanda M. (5/5)

GERMAN SHEPHERD APPROVED

"My dog absolutely loves this food! Normally, he goes crazy when someone rings the doorbell barking nonstop and rushing to greet them. But yesterday, right as I put his bowl down, the doorbell rang. He froze, torn between barking and eating. After few seconds of indecision he took a peak at the window, barked 2 seconds and he chose the food without hesitation and went right back to his bowl. Honestly, he wouldn’t have cared if someone was breaking in, he was finishing his Honest Kitchen meal first! I tried other options before this, and after evaluating it for a while this brand would always come up for high quality, practical, nutrition. So far it's going great!"

Marco M. (5/5)

Good stuff

"I am happy with the higher quality of food with Honest Kitchen. I would never use processed kibble again"

Susan R. (5/5)

Happy girl!

"I am transitioning my dog to The Honest Kitchen, dehydrated. She’s pretty picky, but I have never seen her so joyful for meal times! It warms my heart that I can give her something wholesome and healthy and she still enjoys it. Mealtimes used to be an unenthusiastic affair, now she boops me to make sure I “don't forget!” what time it is 🤣. So far, we are in week two of transitioning and her energy is great, poops are great, and her zest for breakfast and dinner has greatly increased!"

Eline K. (5/5)

Great meal topper

"I use this as a supplemental meal topper instead of buying canned food. She is not a picky eater and loves the taste, she gets so excited she barks when I start to make it. It’s easy to prepare, and I like not rinsing out cans to recycle. It’s convenient and travels well."

Barbara S. (5/5)

Whole ingredients

"They give you the ingredients on the package. The amount of each ingredient in the food. It’s fresh and human grade and we use it in place of hard dried out kibble. Nutrient fence for us we add it with our other fresh food. The love it."

Kristina V. (5/5)

My Labrador retriever loved it,

"My Labrador retriever loved it, along with all other flavors too. I’ve been using Honest kitchen for over 5yrs. All treats, etc."

Q&A

Currently use the beef and oats food (dehydrated) for adult English Bulldogs and seem to be getting dry skin . Would it be recommended to switch to the Beef , w/ Salmon?
Hi Ron, Many vets recommend doing an elimination diet and looking at your dog shampoo/conditioner and topical pesticides (flea treatment) that you use. You can also start by choosing a food with limited ingredients. Here is some more information about elimination diets: https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/blogs/pet-food-ingredients/food-allergies-and-the-elimination-diet Although our diets are not prescription, we do offer a few options for pups with extra sensitivities. We generally recommend our Grain Free Fish diet, any of our limited ingredient recipes, or our Fruit & Veggie base mix (which requires you to add meat as a protein source). You can find out more about each of these recipes here: Limited Ingredient Recipes: https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/collections/shop-limited-ingredient-dehydrated-dog-food Grain Free Fish: https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/products/dehydrated-grain-free-fish-dog-food Fruit & Veggie Base mix: https://www.thehonestkitchen.com/preference Hope this helps!
