Peanut Butter is just about every dog's favorite treat!
That's why this delicious recipe, a twist on the classic French macaroon confection, is a surefire winner. It's loaded with tasty morsels of peanut butter that will make your pup slobber in anticipation. You might even find yourself sneaking one off the plate!Ingredients

1 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1 large egg

1/2 cup peanut butter
-
1 handful strawberries

1 1/2 cups The Honest Kitchen's Instant Goat's Milk

1/2 cup almond milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Line cooking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, baking powder, egg, Goat's Milk and peanut butter. Stir until you form a soft dough.
- Roll dough into large circle, roughly a 1/2 inch thick, then cut out eight small circles and place them on baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Cook for eight minutes.
- Allow to cool, then spread peanut butter and strawberries onto flat side of cookie, then place another cookie on top. Alternatively, you can make the macaroons with just peanut butter or just strawberries inside.
Recipe Note
These delectable treats are high in sugar, so give them to your best friend sparingly. They're best saved for special occasions! Please be sure your peanut butter does not contain xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.
